My 18 year-old son spotted a 3.5 Challenger SE posing as a 6.1 SRT in Wildwood, NJ. He said it was Toxic Orange and had hood stripes with 6.1 Hemi badging. It had no other SRT mods and still had the original single exhaust. Who is he fooling? Not anyone who knows cars. He should be embarrassed.
There is an upbadging thread on another Challenger site. interesting the lengths that people will go. Just be happy with what you have. If it's yours, no shame in it. I don't care what you drive. I care about what I drive. I usually just move on and make it a point to privately admonish someone. I feel it's more respectable to at least let them know in private that someone else may not do it so nicely and offer them a chance to un**** themselves.
I know what you are saying. I can't believe the comments I get on my car. And I always have to tell them it's a SXT plus. I even made my own badge and put it on the front. I love this car.
