6.1L Alternator cooling

    I did for a while. The collector closes to the alternator cooked the back of it. My headers are now wrapped though. No issues since.

    Ceramaic-coated headers will be your best bet to keep things cooler under your hood. They are the way to go.

    I always do on headers. In the old days the starter was the one that got to hot from heat.

    Whew. What brand headers. I’m in Az anndrive mine hard each day with Belanger long tubes an I haven’t had a alt. Failure yet 112000 miles , hahah. Now watch I will
