Sad to read that the movie is being forgotten a bit but certainly not by us Mopar folks. It takes us all back in time. I was 17 years old when it came out and it shaped my love of muscle cars forever, from my first 1974 'Cuda to my current R/T.
I still watch the movie every year. I like that the article states that the re-make sucks. I agree 100%.

My family was in Cisco Utah when the final scene from VP was being filmed. Here are the photos that my dad took in June 1970. It's a long story!
But Graveyard cars actually used some of my photos on their show and posted credits to our family on a shirt video segment.
Anytime we are in Utah, we stop in Cisco to take a look around. It's really gone downhill, not that it was ever the nicest place.
I hope those of you who haven't seen the photos enjoy them!

I really like them. THANK YOU! I have these 4 photos in my garage (near the bottom of my Mopar wall).

Thanks for the photos! That is the first time I’ve seen the Camaro which was the “stunt double” for the Challenger in the final crash scene.
Obviously an iconic movie for car lovers - especially Challenger owners. I’ve seen the movie twice and let’s be honest - the acting wasn’t first rate and the storyline didn’t seem to have a proper ending. Almost like Monty Python writers were tasked with the final scenes!
Anyway, I’ll not disparage the movie any further as there are many who would hunt me down with tar and feathers - especially here.

The Camaro was loaded with dynamite when the kids were standing around it. Can you imagine if that was today? They wouldn't get anywhere near the car.
    Sissy's!

A couple of my photos were also published in a book by Robert Genat Screenshot_20210906-161353_Chrome.jpg

Tar and feathers, then this!!:893Chainsaw-Smilie- If that doesn't work, this will :biggun:
By all means feel free however to disparage the remake.
