This is going to go against the grain.

My cars never get dirty enough to wash, and California doesn't have any water anyway. So I use the KOZAK cloth...don't knock it if you haven't tried it.

If I feel the Kozak cloth is dragging on the paint, I will follow up with Meguiars Ultimate Detailing Wax. And if I have time, I will follow up with Turtle Wax ICE(which I am very surprised how long it lasts, and how well it shines...who would have known...check out the youtube detail guy who compares various detailers/quick waxes on a REAL HOOD with a gloss meter, and then applies chemicals to the waxes to simulate wear/tear to measure how well the wax holds up).

Now, if I really have the time, I will use Meguiars Paint Cleaner, a clay, than Collinate 915. I will put my 14 year old Benz black paint up against anyone...not including the plastic trunk lid...ugh.

ScottHD on youtube does many-month tests of ceramic coatings, and some of them last for years, if you really don't like waxing every week. Or even every year.

Been using NU Finish for decades, easy to apply, and just wipe off, no buffing, and it last a long time. Just be sure to mask or avoid any mat finish areas, or they'll turn white.

I think there is a lot of good cleaning products out there, and if a certain brand does a good job stick with it .i do not think any of them are bad.i have always used malco products for over 50 years now the products are reasonable too and malco makes some products for Meguiars also . like new car scent . keep using what works for you.

Liquid Glass Polish. Been using it since 1979. Just apply then buff out. Can let it bake in sun or cure for 4-6 hours. Only need to use this single product. None of this unnecessary work of adding steps a,b,c,d or having to use other products. Just apply and buff it out. Easy & simple.

Liquid Glass is old school stuff, I remember it working pretty well. JC Whitney used to sell it. I remember my dad waxing his old Dodge Dakota with it, including his bug shield. I was driving it one day and a bug hit the bug shield and I watched it splatter, pool up and slide off the top of the bug shield. I was pretty impressed that it did that.

Yes I prefer old school. Just use one product and maybe layer it. Don't need to do any more work than necessary or spend tons of $$$ like a lot of these products today have you using all of their products in some certain order.

It worked fine for original paint job of 31+ years which is good enough for me. It protected as well as covered up minor scratches & blemishes encountered in daily driving.
