O'Reiley's sells a brake caliper paint kit for about $20. Is it shit, or good enough? Is there a consensus on what works best? Thanks.

yeah, I get the duplicolor kit that is a brush on, you dont have to mask off a whole bunch like you do with the spray kit. also I usually touch mine up once a year, right before show season starts for me.

I wonder if that’s the kit I saw at O’Reiley’s?

For about $200 you can buy re-manufactured calipers that are powder coated. I bought a kit (rotors, calipers, pads) for my Saturn this past summer and they look great. You wouldn't have to get the kit though you could just buy the calipers. The only problem is you would have to install them.

Decided to get the pre-made calipers instead of messing with paint. A guy who owns a body shop is a friend of mine, and he said I could pull my car in and use his jack to install them myself, which is easy. :)

Buying red ones instead of painting. Should hold up better. Won't get them until I get my tax return though.
