I had never bought a new car before my Challenger so I just naturally looked for a used one. I found the prices very comparable and had a hard time finding one with low miles at a good price.

Most used ones in this area are going for almost new prices. You might save a grand and that's about it.

That is nice to know. It is rare that you can buy a vehicle, enjoy it, and still retain good value.

That also explains why I have been getting letters from local dealers offering me very good money on my 2001 Nissan Frontier. 5 years ago I was able to buy it with 54,000 miles for well below KBB, because gas was at $4/gal for the first time and no one wanted trucks. Now the demand for compact trucks is high.
