I only know the carbon-tube LMI is best for the Hellcat of the first generation. However, for non-Hellcats, look for this: A) large, large filter total area (often a double-cone with a conic shape and a conic internal inverted shape to add more area) large cross-section, force-fed air from the indicator light hole (or preferably both of them) to take advantage of already-pressurized air from the cool front of the car, and also insulating/reflecting material to protect intake airflow from heat from the engine compartment. Lowest possible pressure drop, aerodynamic pressurization, and insulation from all extraneous heat.
I think the 2010 SRT8 pulled air from the bottom of the box. That's a good source of cooler air. And a sealed box will keep the engine heat away from the air intake.
