I RARELY park in lots but when I do, I park as far away as possible from other cars. Of course, there is always someone who will park next to you. As a precaution, I thought of a cheap, but effective temporary door protector for our cars- pool noodles.

All you need is three pool noodles. Cut one in half and run a string through each pair. The small end will be inside the car. You can buy them in just about any color to match your car. The total price, including the string is about $7.

Good idea or asking for trouble?

I think that is great. Might make someone not park beside you because of them. That is really thinking outside the box.
