    Yep, let's face it, the automobile manufacturers don't want anyone to work on their vehicles or last on the other side of a 100K.

    I have a friend in the body shop business that I've known all my life! We are both 74 years old, so he says he's not gonna stay in business too much longer and plans to sell and retire! He has told me that with the newer Ford Trucks and SUVs after he finishes a job one, one of them he has to send them to the Ford dealer to get everything reset and programmed, He told me Ford won't let their program out to shops so they have to do the job! Perfect example of manufacturer's making you have to go back to the dealership!
