Dodge has released the Direct Connection Catalog- a "one-stop factory backed performance parts book." This is a throw-back to 1974, when Dodge was the first company to offer factory parts to racers and performance enthusiasts. It contains 108 pages of performance parts to turn your Challenger into a street screamer or a drag strip winner. The catalog is broken down into four parts- Crate Engines, Drag Pak Race Kits, Modern Performance and Vintage Muscle. The performance parts were "developed and manufactured to the same standards set by SRT Engineering. According to Dodge, they take the guesswork out of performance upgrades and come with a 24-month, unlimited mileage warranty. As an added bonus, Dodge has established a Direct Connection Technical Hotline at 800-998-1110. The highest performance crate engines, however, are pricey: Hellephant 426 SC- $29,995 (1,000 hp, 950 lb/ft) Hellcrate Redeye 6.2 SC- $20,795 (807 hp, 717 lb/ft) More reasonable are these two engines: 392- $9,600 (485 hp, 475 lb/ft) 5.7- $7,495 (383 hp, 417 lb/ft) 2022 Direct Connection Catalog (dodgegarage.com)
