I had read many threads on many forums about taking care of Vinyl Stripes.
I finally bought some 303 and tried it out...just to post as disappointed - and find out the best results are on flat black!

On my new to me GWE SRT8, that would not remove spots or scuffs at all - glossy black!
I accidentally was working on rubbing out some scuffs on the rear bumper, and rubbed over the black decal stripes with med rubbing compound.
I could see that it was dulling the stripe. But, it was also removing some pretty good scuffs.

So, I finished off with 3M "Perfect-It", and then Turtle Wax ICE!
    (Rub parallel to decal edges)
And the stripes turned out beautiful!
    WOW!
Here's a few pictures as proof!

    Before...spots and scuffs.

    And after!

Nice job. To keep that look, use Meguiar's Detail Spray every two weeks.

Check out the stripes on my 2009 SRT.

Meguiar's is running a special. She is free but the microfiber towel costs $5K.

I had got over spray white spots 2 years ago on my none painted stripes. Opps did scratch repair product by mistake. And now I got one spot of shine it’s suppose to be satin not glossy can it be fixed it’s not noticeable to others just me.

I was trying to use my Maguires wax and I grabbed the wrong bottle when I found out it was to late.
