DIY Brakes SRT8

    I purchased my SRT8 back in November. Although I do not need brakes at the moment, I am forward thinking. For you DIY'ers SRT8 owners, what brakes have you purchased and installed on your vehicle?

    Even though they create brake dust, I have stayed with Brembo brake pads. Here is a DIY video how to install them. Very simple.

    At 50,000 miles I replaced mine with Bosch BC1149 and BC1053, which I got from RockAuto. I noticed a significant reduction in the amount of dust produced, so my wheels stay a lot cleaner than before. I did not feel any difference in stopping or brake pedal feel. So, that's my recommendation. And they were reasonably priced.
