As enamored as he was at this point in time with the 5.7 if I'm not mistaken he's more recently stated he won't build any gen 3 hemi for personal use due to the cam / lifter issues which he attributes to the block design which finds the lifter angle (almost horizontal) insufficient for proper lubrication. Potentially less damaging if caught in time than the C6 Z06 dropping valves due to premature guide wear.
