    Hi Everyone,

I have to swap the engine cradle out on my 2009 Challenger and I have a few questions:

    Has anyone done it?
    How long did it take?
    Any advice?
    Any special tool help?
How did you brace the motor?

Does anyone know of an aftermarket cradle?

    Thanks a ton!!!

    Greg

I don't have any help, but I do want to wish you the best of luck on that project.

Speedlogix sells a Tubular K member that reduces the weight over stock by around 20lbs.

Call them up and talk with Shawn or Mikey. They will answer what they can.

You'll likely have to have a cherry picker or an engine shop to pull the motor and replace it. This requires the transmission and all engine bay components to be removed and unhooked.

Mind if I ask why you'd want to ditch the stock one? They do have their advantages, just wondering. You can search online for OEM parts. I've used a few like Mopar Super Center. You'll save money buying OEM parts online over your dealership. Warranty work will have to be done and ordered through the dealership. Let us know what you come up with, this could save someone a headache and hopefully helps you out.

Oh, and welcome to the forum. :favorites37:
