See ProFlex Commander for Challenger if you're interested in using E85! Fortunately we're able to use a 30% mix of E85 (which tests locally well below that rating) in our 335's without having to upgrade stock fuel pump through the support of a sophisticated, relatively affordable tuner (JB4) for the purpose of cheap octane boost. Due to ethanol's reduced energy density the stock in tank fuel pump has to work a little harder which limits it's capacity to a 30% mix, the fuel density also resulting in a drop in fuel mileage. With a cheap fuel pump upgrade many BMW owners with mods are running much higher E85 percentages. Going to look further into the ProFlex for hemi's as I'm not clear from the installation description whether it's designed for use on my supercharged application.
E85 ethanol levels vary dramatically (tested locally at 60% at one point). Fortunately my JB4 in the BMW's detects my octane level and adjusts accordingly. It's easy and inexpensive to tube test ethanol content. Hope we hear from someone using it in a hemi beyond a standard 5-10% pump blend.
As per Engine Masters Friday on Motor Trend TV They had to do a lot of Timing Changes to get this out of E85
