With the EV market accelerating rapidly literally and figuratively (the Tesla's are quick and dangerous particularly under the operation of young drivers) battery crash safety appears to be a significant issue (old news for some I suppose). With more and more families purchasing Tesla's (I'm often surrounded by more than one stopped at a light) obviously young driver's access increases. Learning to drive in the family's 390 cu in Galaxy 500 was dangerous enough!
