I have installed a couple of different type systems on challengers and mustangs for customers, I am not a fan, unless they are stock from the factory, i was not a fan as a kid either. Hell if i want sound i will fire a old car up which they all have factory exhaust, I am a believer in letting the engine do the talking. my srt is just right , nice idle and you can hear it coming when you stand on it or any of my cars, W/stock exhaust and manifolds are plenty loud enough. Beep! Beep!

Exactly, Mopar engineered the sound to be just right, but not obnoxious. But when I put the skinny to the floor, that thing screams like I am at the speedway, once that active exhaust kicks in.

Agree 100%. Before I bought my car, I test drove a 2012 YellowJacket at Off-lease. Nice, but it had an aftermarket exhaust that was just too loud. Woulda drove you bat shit on a long drive. I like my factory exhaust. It's nice and quiet on the highway. Until you put your right foot thru the radiator, then it roars!

I absolutely love my MBRP exhaust on my Kooks Headers and cats on my supercharged 2011 Green With Envy SRT. The best thing about the exhaust I installed is that it has zero drone which manual transmissions are cursed with.

I love the tone and volume a lot too as this system replaced the way too loud Flowmaster Outlaw catback that was on the car when I bought it.

The 2011 does not have the active exhaust on them so this will not work.

I installed the Magnaflow axle back system on my 2013 and it sounded great. Here is a photo on it compares to the stock resonators and the car sounds great. Plus the stock tips fit them persect. Magnaflow and Stock.jpg

Installed the Pypes Street Pro exhaust, Big improvement in sound and performance. Not loud at all but a much deeper tone with no drone inside the car. Fit was pretty good but had to work a little bit to make it fit like it was stock,
