Without doubt, the most important modification done to my car was to add the Driver Convenience Group (AJV) when I bought my car. As bad as the blind spots are in our cars, I'd say this has saved me numerous times. From pulling out of parking spots to lane changes, well worth the price. The ParkSense even stopped me from hitting a dog while I was backing out from my driveway.

    Blind-Spot and Rear Cross-Path Detection
The Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection systems combine to assist you with viewing your typical blind spots. Blind Spot Monitoring helps when you make lane changes while driving, and Rear Cross Path Detection helps with the blind spots when you are in reverse in parking lot situations.

The ParkSense® Rear Park Assist system detects objects behind your vehicle when your vehicle is moving in reverse. It alerts you with a graphic display and also will provide a series of audible warnings as your vehicle gets closer to the object.

Totally agree with you on these features. I've had them for many years. Just don't get spoiled and allow yourself to rely on them 100%.

I actually put those little round convex mirrors on mine. hate those blind spots. but those little mirrors help out a lot. I do have a lock pick on mine and have the rear camera so backing up isn't all that bad now. but I don't call that a mod. Mods are something like CAI, exhaust, headers, interior changes. wheels and things like that.
