Has anybody noticed the slow manual shift from neutral to drive?

    Has anybody noticed the slow manual shift from neutral to drive on the 8 speed auto? Mine takes at least a full second.

    Mine is a 2018 R/T with 8 speed auto.

    well, since it is still new it is adapting to your driving skills. give it some time, these cars are not tuned for racing right out of the box. the computer will start to learn your driving habits and adjust as you get more miles on it. also you can get a tuner to adjust the settings on shift points and all.
