    My wife and I have a 2012 Redline Red Tri Coat R/T Classic. We have added K&N cold air, Flowmaster exhaust, Katzkin seats and custom graphics on the rear fenders and the hood. Traded off a 2005 Vette for this car and have no regrets.

    Our R/T Classic is factory rated at either 373 or 375 HP. Before purchasing this car we test drove a 2010 SRT8. I assume the SRT8 has a rating of 425 HP (please correct me if I am wrong).
    I am not down playing the SRT8 but I was not impressed with it's power. After my purchase I out ran a SRT8 of the first gen vintage at a starting speed of 70 MPH. Did the first gen SRT8 truly have 425 HP or do the later year R/T's put the power to the ground better?
    Has anyone else experienced this?
