They told me that they have an older man that does this for them, and they said for a $35000 car they wont send one of the lot attendants. they said they will have a wrap on it what ever that is. they will be coming from san jose ca. to carson cith Nevada, it will travel I-80 up over donner summit. I just hope the guy uses his head and doesn't hammer it with out the engine being "broken in". I know how I would break it in, slowly at first then different speed up to the speed limit. One thing I will ask my dealer is that the guy NOT smoke in the car even with the window open, no smoke smell or burn holes in the back seat from having the window open on the hiway & smoking. It says it has sport mode with the automatic and paddle shifter on steering wheel, how is THAT feature in the car ? also it says it has speed control, is that the same as cruise control ? Bert
You have the option of putting the car in a manual setting and then you will be able to use the paddle shifters on the steering wheel like you are driving a stick. Pretty cool.
I haven't been able to see what the paddle shifters look like, how big are they & where are they located on the wheel exactly ?

Thank You Shaggy, Great video I appreciate you posting it for me. Well, I bought My 2013 Challenger yesterday and it will be ready for me to take delivery in a couple of days. Since it is coming from a dodge dealer in California ( my dealer here in Nevada traded a very hi optioned jeep for it ) which my dealer will drive the jeep to them & return with the Challenger I was able to get a $ 2000. rebate which I had applied to my $ 2000. deposit. I will pay the final balance AFTER it arrives here & I have inspected it. This way, if something damaged it on the way it won't be MY car that got damaged, it will be THEIR car that got damaged so that is why I agreed with my salesman that would be the best protection for me. MAN, I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I BRING HER HOME !!! Bert
Congratulations. You will like the paddle shifters. You can also tap the stick side to side and shift manually also. You can do both Indy and Nascar ! Sport mode is fun too. Break in period is 600 miles if I remember correctly. Vary your speeds and don't romp it too hard during break in. Have fun.
The dealers driver will be bringing it here to Nevada from san jose calif. The dealership said he is an older mature man and they would never send some inexperience kid on the lot to go get a $35000. car. I hope he drives it right as I don't know this guy and the dealer only knows what he tells them . I hope he is professional about it. I only put down $2000. down payment as it will still be THEIR car when it arrives, had I paid it in full, it would be MY car and my problem if something happened during the 300 mile trip to Nevada.
