    The 50-year history of Pro Stock includes a diverse cross section of manufacturers and models which have participated in NHRA’s Pro-Stock class since its inception in 1970. Over the decades we’ve seen participation in the class from just about every major domestic brand, including American Motors, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Mercury, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, and Pontiac, and many of those have seen at least four to five different models on the track.

    Yup, too bad it's only Chevy's in Pro Stock (NHRA at least) these days!

    What's the deal with that anyway?
