HP per Cubic Inch

    Ever wonder which of the current Dodge engines has the most hp per cubic inch? It's not a Hemi. It's the new 3.6L! See below:

    3.6L 220 cu / 305HP = 1.38hp/ci
    6.4L 392 cu / 470HP = 1.19hp/ci
    3.5L 214 cu / 250HP = 1.16hp/ci
    6.1L 370 cu / 425hp = 1.14hp/ci
    5.7L 345 cu / 370HP = 1.07hp/ci

    Also, I forgot to mention that the legendary 426 Hemi would come in dead last (if you believe the 425 hp rating). The hp/cubic inch ratio is .997

    Remember, when the 6.1 Hemi was introduced in the SRT, Dodge stated that it was the highest output per cubic inch Hemi ever produced.
