13?, that covers all aftermarket. A guy at a car show told me the SRT filter does have a relief valve. Good reason to use it, especially if you go to the track with your car.

I read in other places they all have a relief valve, just the SRT filter takes more pressure to open, SRT filter has 67 pleats, standard Mopar filter has 50 pleats.

Ok, so, what IS a good brand to use?

The article seems a little low on real information. First off, I thought Bosch were supposed to be the best filters. In fact, I think someone posted that on this forum somewhere. And the article said there was nothing wrong with the Mobil 1 filters, except they were a little overpriced. Also, there’s no way AutoZone and JiffyScrewb make their own filters, so those gotta be rebranded versions of the other manufacturers.

Seems to be a lot of superstition and folklore when it comes to oil and filters. o_O

You can't go wrong with an SRT filter.

Quality not of as much relevance considering it's bypassing the filter media upon acceleration.

The SRT filter has more pleats, and takes more pressure to crack the relief valve.
