I have heard that after 8,000 miles, the Hemi really wakes up. Rumor has it that Dodge staged the computer for different break in points- 8,000 miles was one them (and the next at 12,000 miles).

Have any of you guys who have reached these mileage points noticed a change in performance?

didn't notice at 8000, but 12000 did feel a little more healthy

Haven't head that claim before. If so, at the current mileage (5K) it will take me two more years or so to reach that milestone.
