Hello from an older guy that grew up with muscle cars and never left the nest. I have not bought a 'new' car in a long time but having test driven these Challengers I knew I had to have one. I can't believe the stock exhaust on these things, especially in sport mode. I had a 1974 'Cuda (360 4 bbl) decades ago and although this car is much larger, it brings me back to those days. I hope to own it a long time, like my other two cars that I purchased 'new' as well. A photo of my 3 rides and my old one. P1010172 (2).JPG IMG_20201113_0001 (2).jpg

Welcome from Canada....no brand loyalty there. What’s for favourite ride?
Why’d you give up the Cuda?

PS- lots of old folks around here!

Welcome back to the Brotherhood of Muscle! Nice collection of rides.

It is amazing how these cars can take you right back to your youth and put a smile on your face ... every time you push the button.

And a European of interest in the garage pic? Do some states / insurance providers allow for multiple vehicles on one policy? Not the case in BC, Canada which I think is unfair.

In the U.S. most companies allow more than one car on a policy. For example, one can be used for work and the other for pleasure driving. I have three cars on my policy for me and my wife. My SRT is the pleasure driving car.

A 1988 Merkur Xr4Ti that I owned for about 6 years when I lived in Florida. A wonderful little 4 cylinder turbo engine. Unfortunately a lot of the plastic interior couldn't stand up to the Florida heat.
Yes, multiple cars on one policy gets you a nice discount.

No, I try to enjoy the best of all the automakers. I even owned an AMC Matador X (see photo below on the Tail of the Dragon). If I had the garage space I would have had a car from each of the Big 4 of the 60's 70's. That's the main reason I sold my 'Cuda back in the 90's. No room.
