It will you allow you to shift into the next gear no matter what rpm, from factory the 6 speeds have a way of not letting you shift from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, or 3rd to 4th if the rpm are high it makes you go from 1st to 3rd and 2nd to 4th. Something about fuel consumption regulations etc. Mine is an auto this is what the guys where I'm liveing have told me, I'm sure someone one here with a 6 spd can elaborate more.
