I would NOT order a car for sure. Some 'wait times' are getting out of hand, and half a year in some cases is just too long to wait for delivery. There is a guy on another forum that is losing his mind waiting for his Challenger to be delivered. I think he is on 6 months now. The car is just sitting in a lot in Ohio with no movement. Excuse after excuse from everyone while the car sits in the elements. No way would I want to go through that. It's almost better to pay a premium for a car that is ready to be driven off the lot. Sign the papers and go. It's just a matter of finding the car with the correct options and your desired color. "Settling" for something is not a good idea either. Good luck!!

I agree that the wait can be painstaking. I ordered my 2009 SRT in May 2008 and didn't get it until December 2008- 7 months!

Yeah, I've pondered that one too. The orange is a color I've always wanted. Even with all my Wrangers it never shook out right with me picking/liking the current orange offering. As I'm sure most people here know Chrylser loves to share color codes. Right now I have a Snazzberry(Octane Red) Wranger. I've also owned Baja Yellow(Yellow Jacket), Billet Silver, and Granite.

I can deal with the wait as long it's planned. Our weather here pretty much sucks from October to April anyway so it's not all bad from that perspective.

I know with Wranglers orders they can literally get hung up from something simple like selecting floormats, or some other mundane feature. When I ordered my last one a little window popped up with a warning about making the selection. Naturally I declined and the delivery went as planned. BUT, lots of others out there didn't receive the warning and they're waiting for floor mats, or some other dumb piece of plastic that completes their build. For months. Covid effffffed supply chain bad. Especially metal, rubber, and plastics.

Do you know which shade or code by chance? I haven't been able to find anything on 2023 colors.

Probably about $3500-4000 in shipping away. Seattle to Anchorage is $2500 alone, most likely worse now with gas prices. But, if they legit sell below invoice it'll still be worth it.

As of this date, Dodge has not released the exterior colors for 2023.

I don't know how accurate this list is, but Autospruce has 11 exterior colors for 2023. Ten are carry-overs from 2022. Smoke Show will be replaced by White Knuckle.

    • 2023 Challenger F8 Green
    • 2023 Challenger Granite
    • 2023 Challenger IndiGo Blue
    • 2023 Challenger Go Mango
    • 2023 Challenger TorRed
    • 2023 Challenger White Knuckle
    • 2023 Challenger Frostbite
    • 2023 Challenger Hellraisin
    • 2023 Challenger Pitch Black
    • 2023 Challenger Octane Red
    • 2023 Challenger Sinamon Stick

    Hope so!

And I was wrong about Baja Yellow and Yellow Jacket being the same. Yellow Jacket has more pop and is a bit brighter. Plus different codes.
