Hello All; I am purchasing a modified 2010 RT and should have it next week. I would like to find out what the car originally was equipped with to determine what all may have been changed. I know several of the changes as it was all divulged during the purchase. Below is from the dealers add. I should also add that this is a Canadian built car. I do have the Carfax report showing the history which doesn’t tell me the original dealer. Bodystyle: Coupe Engine: 5.7L V-8 cyl Transmission: 6 Speed Manual Exterior Colour: White Interior Colour: Black Kilometres: 43,145 km Stock #: 111029 Model Code: LCDP22 VIN: 2B3CJ5DT4AH111029 Fuel Efficiency Rating City L/100km: 13.5 Hwy L/100km: 8.1 Actual rating will vary with options, driving conditions, habits and vehicle condition. Comments: SOLD SOLD SOLD 366 HP to the rear wheels, 460 HP at the flywheel 406 foot pounds of torque, BBK throttle body, Edlebrock intake manifold, K&N cold air intake, headers, Sprint Booster V3, exhaust, new wheels, Mopar wheels and tires, Hurst shifter, 6 speed manual, Mopar graphics kit, 6 speed manual, Mopar floor mats, hood pins, Dyno included. Any help in unravelling the mystery would be great. I am sure I’ll have many questions as time goes on. P.S. I am having the graphic around the rear wheels removed before delivery Thanks Mark
all challengers and chargers are built at the Brampton factory in Canada. it looks like the only change I can see are the wheels. those are the classic wheel from 2011-12 I believe. You ave the last year of the challengers that have the Ram nose badge on the front, also it looks like they installed the Mopar hood pins which were not a factory install but a mopar after market item at that time. Other than the graphics that have been added, .they can be peeled off with some effort. the mod list look good, edebrock manifold and throttle body probably give you a little extra umph....lol I doubt the the 366 rwhp though, I have a 2009 Rt 5.7 with JBA shorty headers and a solo Performance exhaust system and run the 91 Oct tune on my trinity tuner and only got 345 RWHP on aa dyno. so you may want to get that checked to be sure.
Yeah, 366 RWHP is a bit on the high side with out forced induction. Unless the cam has been done in combination with the intake and throttle body.
Yeah I was a bit sceptical on that as well, he showed me the Dyno sheet with the results. He had taken it to a speed shop for compression testing and dyne with a safety check. He appears to be a dealer that cares about what he is selling...The exhaust looks to be long headers with 3” pipe out to the rear. It also has MSD ignition coils on it. That’s all I know at this point until I have it and can do a bit of exploring. I am going to see if I can track down the original owner to see what was done. I’ll tell you the first time I heard it run was like car porn.....if you know what I mean. The dealers is taking the rear decals off and then buffing it out to make sure nothing remains visible. Mark
MAKE sure they did the "Skip-Shift Eliminator" cable on the trans. Trust me, you will be too embarrassed to ask WHY you are miss shifting from 1-2
