For the first time in more than six decades, National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) national event drag racing is officially returning to Michigan, and it is doing so with major backing from the Dodge and Mopar brands. The newly announced Dodge NHRA Great Lakes Nationals presented by Mopar will take place from September 18th through September 20th at U.SA. 131 Motorsports Park, Martin, MI. The event will serve as the opening race of the 2026 NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs and marks a major moment for drag racing fans across the Midwest.
