Ya talked me into looking for one for my car. Which one would you recommend? And, should I be worried about cleaning my intake path on my 5.7 with 20K highway miles?

I recommend the Billet Technology catch can. This is what I have on my SRT. It costs $95.

With only 20K miles, I wouldn't worry about cleaning your throttle body.

Does the V6 benefit much from this, or is it geared more for the higher horsepower engines?

Any engine can benefit from a catch can, especially ones with turbochargers.

catch cans don't do squat for HP. all it does is keeps your PVC system free of the used oil that passes through it, I had one on my 2009 SE with the 3.5L and it worked like a charm.

You're correct, a catch can doesn't add horsepower, but it keeps your engine from losing horsepower due to pulled timing.

Here is a technical explanation how a catch can works.
