Opinion: Comparing 70's Challenger to today's what could they have done better?

    I love both the 70's and my 13.
    I feel they could have done more with the interiors. Not so much hard plastic, actually padded the dash and door panels.

    Please write what you think could have been done better or different.

    I think they really did well. I wish the rear quarter windows rolled down like the originals (they look so cool with no side glass showing). I prefer the molded plastic to padded because I find it's easier to keep clean and wears better. I'll admit the interior could be a little more stylish. But the body styling makes up for it.

    Oh I miss the padding of the 70's I'm thinking about making a leather cover for my dash. I'm fairly new to sewing, so it may be scary. Then I may back out as well.

    I'd like to see that! My mom used to do upholstery for our vehicles. Pretty impressive. Back in the 70s when it was pleated with buttons...
