Just joined the forum. I am an American car enthusiast in the UK. I started enjoying my passion for American cars aged 23 in 1993 when I bought a 74 Firebird with the 250 i6. This was followed by a 78 Firebird with the 400. Then I went modern and had a 97 Trans Am with the LT1, and then a C5 Z06. A year ago I returned to where I started and bought a 79 10th anniversary Trans Am, but after 12 years of modem cars, I'm not enjoying the driving experience so the car is for sale and the plan is replace with my first non-GM car, yes you guessed it... a Challenger. Budget means I am looking at a 2012/2013 R/T. Really excited about the prospect, and will post pictures once I have parted with the cash and I am a proud owner. In the meantime, I have been browsing the forum and learning about the car. Thanks
