    He sold his ZR1 a couple years ago. Told me last week he intends to get a C8 ZR1 as soon as they come out. I'm impressed you remembered that! ;)

    The mention of Brembo components was introduced by another earlier in this thread (you must have missed it). Anyone considering using their products (perhaps especially carbon ceramic rotors, which have been identified as the culprit in the C6 ZR1 failures) might appreciate knowing this. In my experience auto parts product issues / short comings are often / usually present across the spectrum of applications.
