To put duals on an SE you have to either replace the rear bumper pan or have it cut out for the other tip. It is another added expense to the exhaust. A lot of guys with SE's did get duals by buying a stock exhaust off of an R/T from someone. Still have to worry about the bumper pan.

well with the 3.5L true duals was not a great idea. folks who did the mod complained about loss of back pressure which caused a drop in low end torque.

    You can always cut

Ya, with the SE's I think what you did IDMT was perfect. No need for the duels.

No, I didn't regret it. The quad tips look cool. I like the sound when I start it up, especially if the door is open. Just a little brumm to let me know it's not a standard car off the lot. I think the 2011 SE has full duals standard. If I would have waited, I would have had one less year to drive this thing. No regrets. I can always buy a new car if the need arises.

Yep, and with the low end torque being so low OEM,
one cannot spare any low end torque just for R/T duals.
I got the sound without any low end torque loss.
    :)

When I had my SE, I ran a Flowmaster 40, no resonator and put a chrome 3" tip on it. It sounded great. I liked the look of it as well.
