Securing a Car Cover

    I learned a simple trick that makes it much easier to secure a car cover.

    To pass the hold down cord and cable under the car, simply tie the end of the hold down cord to a yardstick or a 3" piece of light molding (with a hole drilled near the top). Then, give the yardstick a gentle push and the end of the cord/cable will be near the opposite side of the car and easy to grab.
