I use the MOPAR "SRT" filter for my 2009 Challenger SRT. It is a high quality filter that originally was designed for the V-10 Viper motor. It has a synthetic filter media, so it will filter finer particles from the oil, hold more particles, and allow a 2 psi boost in oil psi readings. The bypass valve is set a little higher too, so at usual bypass cycles, like start-ups, it won't go into bypass mode as quickly, thus filtering more oil than the stock units. It fits the 5.7, 6.1 and 6.4 Hemi engines.

Although the SRT filter is excellent, it can be a little pricey ($21 or more). You, however, can buy one for only $12.99 on E-Bay. Well worth the money! Here is the link:

    Nice find.
Too bad they don’t make them in the old 440/426 PH-8a size.

I know, just thought it was funny.

Kind of like eBay’s “fit’s Challengers”

Amazon does that on a lot of stuff. It's just not listed as the standard item. They have no clue as to FIT.
