So I recently picked up a pair of cerwin vega speakers while on vacation last month. There from the late 70s. I got a Adcom amp and receiver while I was at work. I came home today and set it all up. Holy crap it sounds damn good! I'm on my back patio typing this listing to Sammy Hagar!

That is too cool!!! Adcom, yummmm!!! And the red cone Vegas, always a treat. Had an 18" Cerwin Vega Stroker on home subwoofer duty for a bit, jeebus. The thing would flex our sunroom doors and rattle the light bulb filaments.

I like music, I can't play the guitar for crap. But I run my stereo's hard. Tv isn't a thing in my house my kids have my love of music. So when I'm home my neighbors know it. Lol

Yeah it's a little anemic. But honestly I don't play it loud. I've got the windows down most of the time. Even now there down and it's hot! Some day I might switch it all to kicker. I'm in the process of upgrading my boat.

I just replaced my 1988 Kenwood analog receiver with an Outlaw 2160 and Motion 40 speakers last year. I've been into stereos since the 60's and miss my separates stack of toys. I've got stereo's in my garage with bookshelf speakers (Klipsch), back room and bedroom. No TV, just music for this older guy

Kenwood reciever, Pioneer tape deck, can't remember who's EQ and 15" Cerwin's. Loved my system back then! Nowadays, I have the new Sonos surround system with remote speakers throughout the house and outdoor patios all controlled from my phone. Systems really have come a LONG way.

Vintage audio is a vice of mine as well. I love the silver faced receivers from the 70's.
