Yeah, that's what it says on the window sticker. I don't believe it.

Just felt better. Especially on the mountain curves up to Sunset Point. I turn it off in the city. May seem backwards but that's just me.

the wife has a 2018 Charger
Blacktop edition with V6 and it gets 29 or better on the hwy.

most of the R/ts. 5.7 or 392 can get almost 30mpg. I have seen that happen.

Not sure about 30, but I have and do get in the upper-mid 20's region with my SRT 392 on the highway...last trip to florida I averaged 25.8 mpg (hand calculated) the whole trip - and that did include some 'spirited' driving.

Now the lie-o-meter in the EVIC did say much higher, but still not 30.

No way you're ever going to see anything close to 30mpg with a Hemi. 5.7 or otherwise.

5spd vs the 8spd trans makes a lot of difference.

even in my 2009 SE with the 3.5L and 4spd auto, I could get up to 28mpg on the hwy

my wife had a 2011 Challenger SE Rally with the 3.6L/ 5spd auto and could get up to 30 MPG on the hwy. So it all depends on how you want to drive these things.

I normally do the speed limit...and I seriously doubt more than 26 or maybe 27 is doable in a 6.4 auto car like I have

I've never driven my Challenger long distance on the highway and probably never will so I'll never be able to prove my theory one way or another. I have driven a 5.7 powered Durango with 8-speed auto long distance and never got better than 22-23 mpg on the highway. Of course I wasn't doing the speed limit but I have a hard time believing that would make more than a 1-2mpg difference. This leads me to believe that my 6.4 would do no better.

I'm taking a road trip (~1600 miles total) next week.....I'll check again.....

I get a little less in my 4x4 crewcab Ram with the 5.7 & 6 spd auto.....usually 21-22 give or take

Best I could get with my 5.7 / A8 is 25.2 mpg with about 95% highway travel. My problem is there isn't a long distance to keep the cruise on, I'm constantly slowing down and then speeding back up due to traffic.
