Mopar Insiders has posted this article about the 2027 Charger:

"Mopar has started teasing its next limited edition vehicle ahead of the 2026 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, and all signs point toward the eighth-generation Dodge Charger.

Our sources have also given us a better idea of what Mopar has planned.

The Mopar ’27 is expected to borrow heavily from last year’s Moparized Charger SIXPACK Concept, with performance and appearance upgrades that could include carbon-fiber pieces, a Mopar cold-air intake, and a stainless-steel cat-back exhaust. We’re also hearing production will include at least 250 cars, although the final number hasn’t been announced.

There are still a few surprises Mopar appears to be keeping quiet until SEMA.

We’re told this Charger will bring much of last year’s Moparized 2026 Dodge Charger SIXPACK Concept into a limited production package. Last year’s SEMA concept established the formula with carbon-fiber body pieces, a Mopar cold-air intake, and a stainless-steel cat-back exhaust. Our sources indicate the Mopar ’27 will follow that approach.

According to our sources, the Mopar ’27 Charger will feature a carbon-fiber front splitter, hood, and rear spoiler. That combination should give it a recognizable connection to the concept while adding some expensive hardware to the package.

Mopar has already developed Charger accessories in each of those categories, so there’s an existing parts lineup behind the idea.

We’re also hearing there will be at least two exterior colors, with Bludicrous blue among them. The other color remains under wraps for now. Special hood and side graphics are expected, too. Their final design hasn’t been revealed, but they should help identify the Mopar ’27 when one turns up at a local cruise night.

Under the hood, our sources point to the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter HURRICANE High-Output (H/O) I6, known as SIXPACK in the Charger.

In the regular Charger Scat Pack, that engine delivers 550 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. Those are the factory figures before considering the additional Mopar equipment expected on this edition.

Along with the cold-air intake, we’re told to expect a performance cat-back exhaust and a Mopar strut-tower brace. A MagnaFlow SPEQ exhaust is a likely possibility, according to what we’ve heard, although the final system hasn’t been confirmed. Whether those additions bring a different advertised horsepower rating is another detail we’ll have to wait for Mopar to address.

The special edition treatment should continue inside with custom dashboard badging and a badge for the key fob.

Our sources also describe an underhood badge along the lines of the “Last Call” plaques fitted to the outgoing-generation 2023 Dodge muscle cars. We’ve seen a similar idea on the new Dodge Charger Hustle Stuff Drag Pak.

For owners, those touches become part of what makes the car identifiable years down the road. They also give Mopar room to work some personality into the package beyond its paint and performance parts."
